Booklists / Contributions & Charges

GROVELANDS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Grovelands Primary School

Parents are asked to provide a number of consumable items. Lists of classroom requirements are distributed to all students in Term 4 for the following school year.

For new families to the school throughout the year, lists will be given as required. To make the purchasing task easier, bulk order facilities have been organised through Campion. Ordering details will be listed on the booklist. There is no obligation to use this company to purchase, but should parents wish to do so, materials selected and ordered will be available prior to the school year beginning.

Contributions & Charges

Voluntary Contribution of $40.00 per student per year.

While these contributions are voluntary, financial support by parents plays a significant role in the provision of resources that extend the school’s capacity to add value to students’ learning experiences. The quality of our teaching and learning programs at Grovelands PS will be maximised when families make a contribution. Funds raised contribute towards resources used to enhance the learning programs of all students in areas such as Literacy, Numeracy, ICT, Physical Education, Arts, Music and STEAM.

Personal Items.

These are the personal use items that students are expected to have at all times in order to be able to participate in the educational programs. The items requested can vary between year levels. Items can be ordered through West School Supplies or purchased through alternative suppliers.

If your child runs out of particular items, you may be requested to replenish these items during the year. Many items can be reused from previous years, e.g., rulers. Please mark items with your child’s name.

School Charges for optional activities.

The school offers a range of activities during the year as part of the educational program. Not all students participate in all activities. Some activities can incur a charge. You will be advised of the activity and cost involved at the appropriate time. Students can only participate in an activity if payment is made prior to the event. The charge listed is the maximum projected cost for the activity.
